Tuesday's Hometown Crime of the Week!

4:43 p.m.-Cameron officer requested a county squad assist him at a sporting goods store in Cameron. Officer advised a female subject brought in a gun for repairs concealed in her purse. When she returned for the gun later, she was advised she cannot carry a concealed weapon. While there, the female subject advised she wanted to buy a different gun and wondered if the gun was big enough caliber so she could go and kill her ex-husband. A background check on the female advised she could not purchase a gun. Female subject eventually left with no gun.
