Seems that the shit is finially
starting to hit the fan:
Scott McLellan, Former Press Secretary, Attacks Bush's White House

Ex-Aide Says He’s Lost Faith in Bush

It's nothing really new to most in my circle of friends.
But I'll bet it comes as a bit of a suprise to the Bushies
who've obviously been duped by their own lies.

But, at least he can still count on a few
loyal buds:

In a zoo in California, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet
tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs
were born prematurely and due to their tiny
size, they died shortly after birth.

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to
decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt
that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a
depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate
another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news
was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the
mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never
been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother
of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only
orphans' that could be found quickly, were a litter of weanling pigs.
The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in
tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger.

I X FACEBOOK

Jack still hates FACEBOOK even though,
as a long lost (Thai Cooking School) friend pointed out,
"It has helped reconnect with so many long lost friends."

This is true,
but "collecting" friends is not the same as
"reconnecting with" friends.
Shame on you lazy friends.

It will take a lot more true "reconnecting" to convince
Jack that this whole FACEBOOK business is worth any effort.

Seems a big excuse to waste time at work.

I'm just waiting for Douglas Coupland to write
a new best-seller:
FACEBOOK, Generation ne"X"t.

Yves Klein BlueThis is a really crap photo
of a really great new Brisbane band.
Check out their new EP and don't miss them live if you have a chance.

Another good bet are a group of kids from
Geelong called the Frowning Clowns who play
60's style bluesy rock amazingly well.

I Told You So!!

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Thursday indicates that 71 percent of the American public disapprove of how Bush his handling his job as president.

"No president has ever had a higher disapproval rating in any CNN or Gallup poll; in fact, this is the first time that any president's disapproval rating has cracked the 70 percent mark," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider adds, "He is more unpopular than Richard Nixon was just before he resigned from the presidency in August 1974." President Nixon's disapproval rating in August 1974 stood at 67 percent.

Last weekend we took Isobel to the affordable art show
at the Royal Exhibition building.
It was completed in 1880 for
Melbourne’s first International Exhibition.
It was also the building to house the first
seating of the Australian Parliament after Federation in 1901.
It's an amazingly beautiful building.
