Random Notes From the Southern Hemisphere
Random notes, photos and musings from the "Land Down Under". Lame and self-serving I know, but a good way to keep you all updated as I'll never be any good at emailing.

Back Online
I've been away for awhile. Mum came to visit and school chores wore me down. The x-mas rush always gets in the way. Bahhhhh Humbug. So I've got some catching up to do.
Rosie, our beloved spiny leaf insect died about 8 months ago but left behind a plethora of eggs, about half of witch I tossed out under a gum tree in the garden. Well, they started hatching and now we've got a little colony of miniature Rosies to care for. They look like little bull ants at first but they grow fast and you can see their structure changing with each new molt.
The very first one
We have about 30 now. They retail for $20 each at our local pet shop. You do the math. Ha Ha!
